I'm so sorry to even mention the holidays now but I've been getting a lot of emails lately requesting information about Holiday Mini sessions. I will be doing "kids only" sessions this year. These go VERY fast so make sure to message/email me soon.

One Year Anniversary { Syracuse Photographer}

One year ago I officially opened the doors to my photography business. I was hesitant at first, unsure if owning a business would change my feelings about the art. If anything, it's allowed me to meet some incredible people and share my vision even more. Thank you to all my clients for sharing pieces of your life with me, and for putting up with my part-time work schedule. I am looking forward to another year of learning and growth.

*That is me in the photograph.  It's also my birthday so I thought it appropriate to celebrate both.  My husband became my assistant for the day.  XO.

Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life! ~Albert Einstein

And didn't they do a perfect job coordinating their outfits!

Thank you Parent Guide News!

Brother and Sister {Syracuse NY Child Photographer}

After having children the time goes by very quickly.  Unfortunately during that time we never got a chance to visit some dear friends.  Finally we made it a point to travel to see them and their beautiful children.  Of course I got a mini shoot in there.

Jamesville Dewitt Senior {Class of 2014 photography}

Let your personality shine!  I've never understood having the same senior portraits taken that everyone else has... the same poses, styles, backdrops, props.  Senior portraits should showcase who you are, what your interests are, and capture this exciting time in your life.  And they should show how amazing you look!

Magic {ESM Senior 2014, Syracuse Photographer}

The East Syracuse Minoa class of 2014 has some very talented seniors and this is one of them.  This senior enjoys everything from magic to golf.  Even though he was a little sick for the photoshoot he put his best foot forward and was a pleasure to work with... that speaks wonders in my book!

Back to School {Syracuse Child Photography}

On Facebook, I'm watching all of my Southern friends send their children back to school.  Here in Syracuse, we are still enjoying summer.  In a few short weeks my daughter will be starting Kindergarten. ::sigh:: Every morning she asks me how many more days before school. She and I couldn't be more excited and ready. With school on the brain we did a little back-to-school photoshoot. Here's to all the students and educators: work hard, learn lots, and have a great year!

The lovely and fun photographs of 3 sisters... taken on a 99 degree day with buckets full of bugs in the air but they managed to strike a pose.

Mickey Mouse Themed Birthday Party {Syracuse Professional Child Photographer}

Happy 3rd birthday to my caring, funny, clever, cautious, huggable, elephant loving little girl.  Today she was awake at 6am and we were finger painting by 6:30.  xoxo-mommy.

First I took my daughter out for her birthday photos....
(Dress by Lolly Wolly Doodle)

The cake was made by Mrs. Kelder's Cakes located in Syracuse/ CNY.

And a couple ideas I got from Pinterest.  Scoop icecream into cupcake wrappers and freeze.  It makes it a lot easier for guests to get their icecream.

And the party favors.
