I read a quote a while back that said, "If you have many passions, pursue them." This spoke to me. I have many interests but two of my passions are photography (big surprise) and teaching. Prior to becoming a photographer I taught high school math for many years. When I resigned to stay home with my children my business was born. I've loved this time but began to miss teaching, so... I've decided to pursue both. I'm excited to say I will be heading back to the classroom, but still scheduling photoshoots in the summer. This will not affect my clients that have already scheduled shoots for this year. Unfortunately, I will not be offering fall sessions and this summer is booked. I understand many of my clients may have to go elsewhere but I must make this change for myself. I wish there was time for all the people who request shoot. Thank you all for the support throughout the years and I hope you all have the chance to pursue all your passions.

Sunshine and Rainbows {Syracuse Child Photographer}
Madison has such a colorful personality we had to reflect that in her shoot. She also loves unicorns so of course I HAD to make that happen. Maddy, you are wonderful! xoxo.

Headshots {Syracuse NY Portrait Photographer}
Now that we actually have sunshine in Syracuse I finally took the time to do some headshots for my website/blog. I've only been putting it off for over 5 years. It's always very strange for me to be on the other side of the camera. I'm fine if I'm with my family, but when I'm by myself I feel very awkward. This ended up being very educational to me. Sometimes I forget what a client feels like and this was a nice refresher.
If you're wondering who's the lady behind the lens, well... it's my mom! I talked her through the process and I have to say she makes a darn good assistant. And as my clients already know, I do not look this put together during a shoot. Any makeup I'm wearing gets rubbed away by my camera, my outfits consist of anything I don't mind getting dirty, and I'm definitely not in heels.

Oh, but then the wind blows your hair just right!
But seriously.... feeling a tad awkward. I don't belong on this side of the lens. And just to let you know, things are not always as they appear. Right before this shot a big bird pooped on my face... yup, right on my face. I wiped it off, which took my makeup off, covered my face with some hair and kept going.

Lumberjack {Syracuse Child Photographer}
My nephew is the cutest little outdoorsman. We were suppose to do this shoot in the fall, but due to some unfortunate events we had to wait until January. We had a lovely time exploring the woods together, and chopping down trees ;)
Max, you are wonderful! Thank you for spending the day with me.
Love-TT (his cute nickname for me... makes me melt)
*Disclaimer- Photoshop was used on the hatchet. As with all my shoots, this was completely safe.

Siblings {Syracuse Child Photographer}
When a family arrives with smiles, adorable children who are natural in front of the camera, and dressed like Gap models you get very excited.

6 Month Old Baby Photoshoot {Syracuse, NY}
As you can see, Laila is one adorable little baby. She had such a sweet demeanor from the second she was carried through my door. Instant smiles and she totally hammed it up for the camera. It was such an easy and fun shoot! She even modeled an Easter hat for me.
Saying goodbye is never fun.... especially to someone this adorable!
