Glamorous Photos { Not boudoir... better, Syracuse NY photographer}

I have often wondered why there is only boudoir photography for women.  Why can't we have beautiful photographs of ourselves that doesn't require lingerie?  Don't get me wrong, I think well done boudoir photography is stunning.  I've decided to start something new for the Syracuse area, and that is The Beauty of You sessions.  Some might call this Glamour photography but I'm old enough to remember the Glamour shots from the 90's and I don't want that confused with what I do.  I will be posting more photos on some recent Beauty of You sessions I've done but for now here is my ad.

Photography packaging {Professional Photography, East Syracuse, NY}

Lately I've been torn as to give my clients DVD's or Jump drives. I had heard that some of the newer Mac books were having difficulties with DVD's so without question I knew I was going to make the switch. I couldn't be happier with my new jump drives. They are modern, stylish, and low cost... now that's my cup of tea! They are from www.photoflashdrive.com and they offer a variety of colors and styles. Not only do I love the jump drives I get to choose boxes, bows, and other packaging materials. One day I will include photos of my packaging but for now here is a photo of the jump drive...

Baby it's cold outside! {Child photographer, Syracuse}

It is a frigid 1 degree here in Syracuse, NY. It is just too cold to shoot outside today so I decided to be productive and clean up my computer. I stumbled upon this image and instantly I was warmed. It's amazing what a photograph can do!

Yes it's early but February tends to be a very busy month for me.  I decided to do a little early Valentine's Day photography shoot.  Those hearts were taped to the wall behind the girls.  It would be very easy to photoshop them in post production but where's the fun in that?   XOXO...

Magazine Cover {Syracuse, NY professional photographer}

Alright, so this is VERY old news but I can not believe I forgot to share it on my blog... my photograph was chosen as the cover of Parent Guide News.  This publication can be found across New York, Long Island, and New Jersey.  So very honored!

Honorable Mention { Syracuse NY professional Photography}

I sent this photo into a nationally released publication... it didn't get the cover but I did get an honorable mention.  I was very honored to have my work displayed next to some very well-known photographers. 

Audrey Hepburn inspired little black dress { Child photographer Syracuse NY}

The natural light was just beautiful today in the studio.  I couldn't wait to photograph Isla in her new little black dress.  The second I saw that dress I thought, "Audrey Hepburn."  Add a strand of pearls and some sunglasses and you've got instant style.

The F Family {Syracuse, NY Family photographer}

I was contacted by this family because they wanted family portraits but they were having difficulties getting the kids to cooperate.  Challenge accepted.  The mother and I went to high school together and she is still the sweet person I remember.   In fact, the entire family is great!  It was great catching up and I just enjoyed the energy the children had.  And don't let those sweet little faces fool you, those children are both tough cookies!  xoxo- Ann

I feel so fortunate to watch not only mine but other children grow.  It's a blessing.  Here is little Mya from birth to 1 year young and her gorgeous big sister.

Once in a while I like to break away from photographing children and babies and try my hand at adults.  I've know this family for a while now and they are FABULOUS!  Oh and not to mention FUN!  The family wanted me to take photos of them that was natural, so where else but their gorgeous home decorated for the holidays.

It's always so wonderful when clients bring their children to me, starting at birth.  I've had the pleasure of capturing these beautiful children for years.  And if it's not strange enough watching your own children grow so fast, try watching someone go from a newborn to a 1 year old in the blink of an eye.  Thanks L family, you are wonderful!

I have been photographing this beautiful little girls since she was a tiny baby.  I am so greatful to have such wonderful clients who consider me "their photographer."  This family is very giving and let's not forget fun.  Little Miss AvaLynn can light up a room with her sweet, sweet smile.
